Aarhusblog and Umeå2014 are collaborating on a blogging cultural exchange program that will culminate in Aarhus and Umeå bloggers visiting each others cities to explore, experience and write about each others cultures. Both Aarhus and Umeå will be European Culture Cities.

My name is Kent Lundholm, born in 1958, and since the mid-80s living in Umeå in Sweden. If, as I am interested in culture Umeå is a great city to live and work in. Especially when Umeå will be the European Capital of Culture in 2014. I work as a freelance journalist, columnist and author. Most of my novels set in the great forests in Västerbotten. I will blog about the rich cultural life here in northern Europe, the small strange miracle, on adventures in the woods and the mountains. Maybe even a little bit about my cats.
